Boy, is it hot, Jackson and I have been lying low these days, we go out early in the mornings and then late in the evenings. I just can't take the middle of the day, esp now that I am with children. Mama Teri says she will have to take extra care of me during this pregnacy, being that it will be in the hottest time of the season. So she and I take naps during the day and she rubs my belly alot. I really like to have my belly rubbed. Papa Barry says I am spoiled, but thats ok, my mama Teri really loves me, and yes she loves Jackson too, but he is a mans dog and he doesn't like to have his belly rubbed like I do. Papa Barry spends alot of time with Jackson doing tricks, they have lots of fun playing together, Jackson really loves Papa Barry. I guess you could say I am a mamas girl and Jackson is a papas boy. I'm posting a few pics of Jackson's fav place, on the air vent, and mine is on the couch.
Gonna go for now, but I'll be back, gotta go get a pedicure, my nails are a mess.

It's allmost July, things are really heating up around here, and I don't mean just the weather, it looks as if Jackson and I will have a new batch of babies on the way. Mama Teri says they will be here on the 1st of September, and will be ready to go to their new homes on November 1st, just in time for Thanksgiving. We are all really happy, esp. me. I love babies, they are so much fun and I am a good mama.
So tell all your friends and I will be keeping intouch as things progress. Will be posting new pics allong the way too.

Life is good here on the Bayou

As you can see from the pics, it is now the dog days of summer and life is slow and easy, lots of water to keep things cool. Jackson and I enjoy the raft and just floating out in the big water. If we are not in the water then we spend alot of time inside where its cool, esp, Jackson. He does not like to be hot.
Can't blame him, allthough I like to be outside, I think I spend more time outside than he does.

Well it's the end of the month of May, Jackson and I have been really enjoying ourselves, we lay around and nap alot, and then take lots of boat rides. As you can see our favorite time to go out in the boat is at sunset, we watch alot of sunsets here on the bayou. Everything is in full bloom around here, there are all kinds of new babie wildlife now, we really enjoy watching the baby ducks that mama Teri and papa Barry feed in the mornings and evening.
The fishing has been good, and we love to lay around on the deck and wait for mama Teri and papa Barry to bring them fish up.
Things are good around here, very laid back and easy living. We are really taking advantage of this time because we know that new babies will be in the near future sooner than you know, but I'm ready and kinda waiting for it. I love being a mom and playing and taking care of those little ones, mama Teri says that I and a very good mama to my babies.

Lizzy and Jackson on the bayou

Jackson and I have really been enjoying each others company. We have been playing and relaxing around the bayou, been on a few boat rides, even did a little late night swimming with mama Teri and papa Barry, that was fun, the best thing is floating on the rafts, you know it is kinda deep out there. Mama Teri says we need doggy life jackets, that will be interesting.
We have heard from a few of the puppies since they have found new homes, all are doing great. Mama Teri really likes to keep intouch and hear that they are doing well. She says it makes her happy to know that their new homes are loving ones.
Things around here I guess you could say are kinda slow and layed back now that all the babies are gone. They really bring a lot of excitement to a place, We miss them but are enjoying things as they are for now. Before you know it there will be new babies around again.
