March 24th,
Thought I'd post a few pics of Jackson and I from our last week here on the bayou, it's been very quiet around here now that all babies are gone, we've been for some evening boat rides, those are allways fun, been doing some fishing, as you can see I am a hands on kind of girl with that, like to keep my eye on whats going on, from baiting the hook to helping to get them off the hook, I like to fish. Jackson can take it or leave it, he just likes to catch those turtles.
The days have been beautiful, this is our favorite time of the year, execpt when it gets time to go out on the boat to go swimming, can't wait for that. Jackson and I both like to float on the rafts with mama Teri and papa Barry. I'm sure we will get pics of that too.
Mama Teri got an e-mail from one of my babies, (Edna) she is growing up and looks really cute, her new mama and papa really love her. Haven't heard from Tummbelena, wish we would, we miss her and would love to hear from her, but I know she is loved and being cared for.

Lizzy and Jackson

March 16th, yesterday our last baby Tummblena left us to go to her new home, we were happy and sad at the same time. We got to spend extra time with her so I guess that made her special to us, we will miss her. So now our nest is empty, for awhile anyway. I really enjoyed being pregnant and having babies so I am looking forward to next time. I will be blogging all about it when it happens, but for now Jackson and I will be enjoying the spring time with lots of sunshine outdoors lounging on the deck, and boat rides in the evenings with mama Teri and papa Barry. We really like the boat rides, esp when we go fast and we have the wind in our faces. The evenings are still nice for little fires outside too, I curl up in mama Teri's lap and Jackson gets in papa Barry's, then we just chill. Life here on the bayou is great, a real dogs heaven.
I want to thank everyone who reads our blogs and hope that you will continue to do so, we are planning on lots of fun in the sun this spring and summer. And hey I even got my figure back in time too.

Lizzy and Jackson

March 15th, today I found a new home with two new parents that are going to love and care for me. I am so happy, I will miss mama Teri, papa Barry, Bo and Granny, and my mama Lizzy and papa Jackson, and the bayou. But I know that my new home is going to be filled with lots of love and I will be taken care of. I hope that when my mama Lizzy has more babies that they will all find loving homes like my brothers and sisters did.
So the adventures of "Tummblena on the Bayou" is now over.
Life is good.

Easter Sunday,
Yesterday I went for my first boat ride, I did not like it, we went fast and it scared me. Mama Lizzy and Papa Jackson really like to go fast, they stand on the front of the boat with their ears flapping in the wind. Guess if I stick around here I'll get used to it. Mama Teri is looking hard to find me new owners, and I am excited about a new home. I am doing really well, I play really hard with my mama Lizzy, esp. outside, I really like to go outside. I run around hard, then I go inside to take a nap.
Last night I got to sleep in the big bed with mama Teri and papa Barry, it was great, we just snuggled and loved all night, but they say I can't get used to it because they have a really high bed and I mignt fall out. I really do like to snuggle real close and sleep late in the mornings. Mama Teri calls me her "little lover girl".
Papa Jackson is being nicer to me somewhat, we took a nap on the couch yesterday. The only time he gets cranky is when it's time to eat, he doesn't like me to get close to him when he is eating.
Gonna go for now, going outside to play for awhile.

Tummbleana

March 9th

Mama Teri and Papa Barry took me to see a Holistic Vet today, he looked me over real good, he says that I must have been dropped on my head as a baby that is why I have the wobbles that I have and why I am a little clumbsy, other than that I am very healthy, all is normal, and I should live to be an old dog. That was good news. He allso gave me these drops to take and I can't even pronouce the name of it. It may help me.
I have been going outside twice a day to run and jump and play, I play hard and mama Lizzy plays hard with me. Today I allso took my first walk with a new collar and leash, it was so much fun, I ran, and ran, and when we got home my little legs were so tired I just couldn't even stand to drink water. I slept hard after that. My mama Teri says I will make someone a good dog, she doesn't even want money for me just loving parents that will take good care of me. I love the bayou but it's not the right place for me, I could fall off the pier and land in the water, but I love to play outside in the yard.

Monday, March 6th

All my brothers and sisters have found new homes and its just me here left with mama Lizzy and papa Jackson, and with my Granny too. They call me Tumbleana, I think I will be staying here for awhile because mama Teri has been taking me to Doctors, I have a little problem with my balance and I stumble alot (I think thats where the name came in), anyway I have been seeing a Chiropractor and she is giving me adjustments, they don't hurt at all. Next week I am going to see a Holistic Vet, and maybe he will give me some good medicine to take. I am very small, but I have lots of energy, I don't feel bad at all, I am very happy and I love to play outside, they just have to watch that I don't fall in the bayou.
Mama Teri says she would let me go to a new home, but it has to be very special people that would take good care of me and love me with my clumbsy self. I like it here and I really like being the only one to get mama and papa's attention, but I know I could allso learn to love a new mama and papa if it's ment to be.

Wednesday, April 1st

Here are some new pictures of my brothers and I, just taken a few days ago. Hope someone sees us and wants to take us home with them. We are growing fast, and eating alot too. Today mama Teri says we are going outside to play as soon as the grass dries a bit. It's so much fun to run around, our mama Lizzy likes it when we go outside now, she can run and play with us. We will miss her and I know she will miss us, but she will have new babies to play with again soon. Gotta go now, its time to eat our breakfast then take our morning nap.
